Job description

A Silicon Valley-based company offering businesses a comprehensive platform to help them manage their sign, print, or garment shop is looking for a Front-End React Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for building beautiful user interfaces as well as scalable, secure, and reliable systems. The company offers customers a web-based job management, CRM, and POS solution that is designed for their businesses. This position requires 5+ hours of overlap with the PST time zone. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with a small team of top-tier developers who are designing great user experiences and building truly great applications for the web
  • Ensure features are being delivered efficiently and on-time
  • Participate in architectural review and design
  • Work in collaboration with back-end developers and actively drive product direction

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a front-end engineer
  • Proven track record of shipping software and successfully released apps 
  • A minimum of 3+ years of commercial experience using React and Typescript
  • Advanced knowledge of writing tests for React (React Testing Library + Jest)
  • Experience with continuous integration
  • Proven work experience inside of a distributed team in a remote environment
  • Strong attention to detail on every line of code, every unit test, and every commit message
  • Comfortable with rapid development cycles and tight schedules
  • Comfortable with collaboration and open communication across distributed teams
  • Strong technical design and development skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills 
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
