Job description

A U.S.-based company that is helping businesses to provide their staff sabbaticals by giving them access to a full upskilling-as-a-service platform, is looking for a Front-End Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for creating manageable, high-quality code by adhering to tried-and-true standards. The company's modern services is helping businesses to reimagine their learning culture and solve specific skill development challenge. The company has managed to secure close to $13.2mn in funding during their Series A round. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Employ React, TypeScript, CSS, and HTML to create stunning responsive layouts
  • Utilizing tools like Storybook, create tested, accessible, and maintainable React components with a focus on modularity
  • Take ownership of a key role in a growing company
  • Work together with Product to make sure enhancements and modifications adhere to business requirements and the company's strategy
  • Be enthusiastic about learning new things and taking on new challenges
  • Develop a thorough understanding of new features, dependencies, and technical intricacies by working closely with designers and other engineers
  • Contribute significantly to the huge transformation of learning, talent development, and upskilling

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a front-end engineer
  • Prolific experience working with React, TypeScript, CSS, and HTML
  • Extensive experience developing front-end software while utilizing the latest frameworks and technologies
  • Prior experience creating highly scalable systems and frameworks
  • Ability to understand the big picture and drive solutions
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal direction in a highly organized and detail-oriented manner
  • Nice to have some prior experience working remotely
  • Excellent effective communication and collaboration skills
  • Fluent in English communication
