Job description

A fast-growing company that is on a mission to make finance independent and simple is looking for an experienced Front-End Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for building intuitive experiences by collaborating closely with the product and design teams. The company is determined to revolutionize the existing financial industry with their remarkable and innovative FinTech products and services. This is an exciting opportunity for engineers to learn from the best while working with a team of efficient professionals. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead the React Native development of the iOS and Android apps
  • Plan and scope new projects, features, and initiatives in close consultation with the founders
  • Write proven, high-quality code to provide a slick, attractive UX
  • Support the engineering organization's culture now and in the future

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 4+ years of relevant experience as a front-end engineer
  • 4+ years of experience working with React and React Native
  • Strong desire for simple, easy-to-use user interfaces
  • Demonstrable expertise in using React Native to build mobile applications
  • Extensive experience developing for React Native and releasing to both iOS and Android platforms
  • Must possess design sensibility, user-friendly UX, and aesthetics
  • Knowledge of secure development techniques that can be demonstrated
  • Prior work experience with one of the teams that is expanding and moving quickly
  • Nice to have the urge to collaborate with the founders and other systems developers in person
  • Prior experience taking charge of projects
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
