Job description

A rapidly-growing, US-based music platform that connects with artists, music producers, and songwriters is looking for a Front-End Developer. The developer will be part of an organization that values vision, execution, and persistence. The company is also developing powerful business tools, creating educational content, and sourcing industry opportunities to empower and assist music creators at all levels. The company has secured funding close to $6 mn during their Series A round. This will be a full-time, long-term position that needs some overlap with the EST time zone.

Job Responsibilities:

Translate the UI/UX design wireframes from Figma to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application
Work cross-functionally with Product Managers, Product Design, and additional Engineering resources
Design and build reliable, low-latency, and highly performant applications
Help build the key product by solving complex challenges in simple, elegant ways

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a front-end developer
Prolific knowledge of React, Node.js, NextJS, and Git
Prior experience working with MongoDB, GraphQL, Shopify APIs, and Docker
Nice to have some knowledge of JavaScript Frameworks, Audio Libraries, HTML5, CSS3, and SASS
Excellent collaboration and communication skills
