Job description

A fast-growing company on a mission to develop a more sustainable future by using technology to help clients transition to renewable energy is looking for a DevOps Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for automating essential tasks by implementing the necessary tools and scripting technologies. The U.S.-based company is determined to significantly impact the environment by offering affordable, market-based solutions for managing carbon, energy, and water resources. This position requires a significant overlap with the PST time zone and will be a long-term role. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Implement DevOps processes and automation tools for the company’s platform 
  • Work closely with a diverse set of developers to architect cutting-edge solutions
  • Monitor the system and application health to analyze bottlenecks
  • Develop and implement efficient processes for ensuring the availability of systems

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer 
  • Extensive experience in DevOps, AWS, and Unix
  • Prolific experience in Linux and Python
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
