Job description

A US-based company providing AI-powered video analytics technology to give insight and visibility for manual assembly line improvement is looking for a DevOps Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for constructing robust systems. The company provides digital transformation, resulting in significant cost savings, efficiency gains, and time-to-proficiency gains for line associate training. This will be a long-term, full-time role that requires some overlap with the IST time zone. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create automation tools for application and infrastructure deployment and maintenance
  • Pipelines for continuous integration and deployment must be defined, developed, and led
  • Construct software-defined infrastructure
  • Ensure the application/systems' performance and security
  • Coordination of development and release activities with other stakeholders
  • Create and implement automated quality and release gates
  • Architect new feature solutions and scale existing infrastructure
  • Create CI/CD pipelines and oversee internal software packages

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5-7+ years of working experience as DevOps/Infrastructure Engineer
  • Knowledge of GCP and CI/CD 
  • Experience with Microservices
  • Knowledge of building end-to-end monitoring and alerting system for all applications using Grafana, Prometheus, Redash, etc
  • Proficiency in English
