Job description

A US-based company that is helping businesses to stay insured and help protect and keep their businesses afloat, is looking for a DevOps Engineer. The engineer will be in charge of integrating scalable solutions while partnering with multi-disciplinary technology teams. The company is forging strategic relationships and agreements with insurers, reinsurers, and other capacity providers. They have managed to raise $15mn+ during their Series A round. This will be a full-time role requiring some overlap with the MT time zone. 

  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Partner with different teams for ensuring high productivity, reliability, and scalability of applications
  • Build metrics and KPIs to quantify product quality and engineering efficiency
  • Design and develop CI/CD pipelines and ensure source code control management
  • Help to perform architectural/code review and validation, code deployment, etc. in phased releases
  • Provide technical suggestions for potential projects to bring impactful results

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3-5+ years of relevant experience as a DevOps engineer
  • Deep understanding of Network Protocols (Network admin)
  • Experience in working on DevOps processes
  • Should be able to work on platforms like Linux
  • Knowledge of Windows Admin
  • Proficiency in working with version control systems like GitLab will be helpful
