Job description

A rapidly-growing blockchain platform that serves as a core infrastructure of future decentralized applications is looking for a DevOps Engineer. As an engineer within the team, you will develop and promote the use of fully automated CI and CD pipelines. The platform offers high-speed operations, processing up to 7,000 transactions per second. The selected candidate will work with other operations teams to research and implement best practices to manage the infrastructure as code and automate cloud deployments.

  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Automate and optimize daily business operations 
  • Explore, test, and integrate new tools to improve new and existing products
  • Assist in ascertaining cost estimates, current cloud costs, and trending information for different cloud environments
  • Collaborate with the security team to establish IAM best practices managing access to cloud resources
  • Assist in configuring services using GCP
  • Work closely and assist with other operations teams to build solutions
  • Implement best practices for building, releasing, and managing the configuration of production systems
  • Troubleshoot cloud systems to solve problems across platform and application domains
  • Build up knowledge and suggest cloud architecture and process improvements
  • Test and understand benefits of new cloud technologies and vendor products
  • Develop high-quality distributed systems and backend services
  • Implement fail-safe critical system security using the latest cloud security solutions

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a DevOps engineer
  • Expertise in working with languages like Python, Java, Go, Perl, and C#
  • Thorough knowledge of CI tools such as Jenkins, Travis, Azure, DevOps, etc
  • Ability to communicate with different teams and stakeholders with confidence
  • Familiarity with Docker or Kubernetes will be helpful
