Job description

An emerging company providing investors a lucrative way to invest in pre-IPO equity is looking for a DevOps Engineer. The engineer will be building and maintaining secure infrastructure in the cloud platform. The company is determined to become a leading fintech leader in the tech market. This is a great opportunity for those who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work as a core member of the engineering team and assist in building and automating the secure, performant, and scalable services
  • Assist in building back-end components capable of powering modern fintech marketplaces
  • Develop new infrastructures as code in a greenfield industry
  • Take ownership of ensuring the reliability and availability of platforms
  • Define development strategies to monitor and alert in case of major errors
  • Own development processes to ensure security and data privacy and protection for the company

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5-6 years of relevant experience as a DevOps engineer
  • Should have at least 6 years of professional experience working with cloud services like AWS
  • Must possess at least 3 years of experience in building infrastructure as code using Terraform or Cloudformation along with developing and managing CI/CD pipelines
  • Professional experience in developing and administering containers with Docker/Kubernetes is required
  • Expertise in shell scripting process and configuring security automation features
  • Thorough knowledge of data encryption and cybersecurity best practices
