Job description

A leading cryptocurrency platform that has been recognized and awarded for its contribution to the FinTech industry is looking for a DevOps Engineer. The developer will be responsible for building high-quality applications while analyzing the business objectives and user requirements to implement other features and functionality. The company provides users with security and insurance-backed crypto-based financial goods and services at a single access point. So far, the company has managed to raise funds worth more than $100 mn. This is a nice opportunity for the selected candidate to join a well-funded enterprise and rise quickly through the ranks.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Understand and follow standardized software engineering processes
  • Possess in-depth understanding of product and systems
  • Write automated tests for making sure the code is robust and fault-tolerant
  • Work in agile teams in a collaborative manner
  • Collaborate and communicate with stakeholders
  • Tackle complex tasks through problem-solving skills and analytical abilities 
  • Collaborate with the development team to build out new features for the platform

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a DevOps engineer
  • Prior experience working with AWS or related technologies
  • Experience creating and managing cloud deployments using the Beanstalk platform
  • Prior expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, Prometheus, and Grafana is essential
  • Knowledge of Jenkins pipeline and Atlassian tools (Jira, Bitbucket, etc.) is nice to have
  • Nice to have prior experience working with a product startup
  • Decent knowledge of Docker-based deployments on containers
  • Basic scripting knowledge and familiarity with Linux systems
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
  • Solid expertise in maintaining Logs and generating reports
