A venture-backed startup developing an industry-leading software solution and fostering the online sale of commercial property and casualty insurance is looking for a DevOps Engineer. The engineer will work alongside a talented team to create and manage infrastructures and contribute to the development of SaaS solutions for insurance carriers and agencies. The company is building best-in-class technologies while staying committed to innovations and distributing digital tools to improve efficiency and increase revenue. It has raised more than $6 mn in funding so far. Candidates who would like to join a fast-paced, dynamic team that is changing the world of insurance are suitable for this role. It is a full-time position that requires an overlap with the PST time zone.

Job Responsibilities:

Support project completion amidst adversity with a positive attitude
Be flexible to adapt in a fast-changing environment
Ensure technology standards and best practices are met
Coordinate and configure new environment setups
Design and develop solutions to fix identified problems

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a DevOps engineer
Proficiency with MongoDB, Node.js, and Vue.js
Highly adept at systems integration and automation
Ability to debug hardware, software, and networking based server issues
Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
