Job description

A fast-growing FinTech company redefining prime brokerage from the ground up is looking for a DevOps Engineer. The selected candidate will be taking ownership of tasks and shipping products successfully. The company provides world-class credit, trading, structuring, and custodial products to institutional digital asset traders. During their Series C round of funding, the company secured over $325 mn. This is a great opportunity for developers eager to prove their technical prowess and enjoy tackling complex problems.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build efficient internal tooling to improve workflows
  • Build large scale, high-performance systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products
  • Use a holistic, test-oriented approach to troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
  • Take ownership of your tasks and work independently

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a DevOps engineer
  • 2+ years of experience handling production deployments and monitoring high-performance applications
  • Familiarity with AWS stack, Kubernetes (EKS), Docker, and RDS
  • Solid working knowledge of DynamoDB, Jenkins, Prometheus, Github, and similar tools
  • Comfortable with working in Linux-based environments
  • Ability to debug applications with production issues
  • Familiarity with coding in Python and shell scripting
  • Nice to have some expertise with CI/CD, CircleCI, or Jenkins 
  • Experience with Prometheus, PagerDuty, and Sentry is desirable
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
