Job description

A US-based biomedical research and discovery company developing AI drug discovery pipelines and using technology to increase the effectiveness of drug discovery is looking for a DevOps Engineer. The engineer will contribute to the build-out of the DevOps foundational platform and tackle business-led demands. The company is partnering and aligning with academic and commercial medical research communities as well as playing a critical role in providing better treatments to patients faster with the help of researchers and medical scientists. This is an excellent opportunity for those who want to work actively in changing the future of medical research.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage and configure cloud infrastructure components
  • Create, maintain and operate CI/CD pipelines for both the product and infrastructure resources
  • Design and develop automated code delivery pipelines
  • Troubleshoot problems across a wide array of services and functional areas 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant DevOps engineering experience
  • Experience in building Microsoft Azure DevOps pipelines
  • Solid Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment experience
  • Proficiency in Azure Compute and Storage offerings
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture and deployment technologies, including Kubernetes and Docker
  • Prior experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform and Pulumi)
  • Azure Machine Learning proficiency
  • Good knowledge of GitHub repositories, configurations, and Actions
  • An understanding of Atlassian development tools such as Jira/Confluence
