Job description

The engineer will be responsible for assisting the development team in managing platform improvements, code updates, and bug fixes. The company is providing patients with accessible, affordable, and flexible healthcare solutions that cater to their unique needs. Job Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with application developers to build and deploy CI/CD pipelines
  • Maintain and ensure availability of all development/production environments
  • Build and deploy cloud services using infrastructure as a code paradigm
  • Document processes, focus on continuous improvement, and monitor performance metrics
  • Ensure best practices are followed in setting up pipelines and Deployments
  • Troubleshoot and resolve the issues reported during and after deployment

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a DevOps Engineer
  • Comprehensive skills in building and maintaining DevOps environments
  • Expertise working with YAML and other scripting languages such as Bash, Powershell, and Python
  • Adept in maintaining deployments with Kubernetes and awareness of strategies like canary, blue-green, and multi-service using K8s/AKS/EKS
  • Accomplished in creating documentation and monitoring performance metrics
  • Confident with cloud tech, using Microsoft Azure, AWS, and GCP
  • Proficiency using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform/Pulumi
  • Strong understanding and skills in IaC and configuration management tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, Ansible, etc
  • Deep comprehension of security concepts, standard methodologies, and how to apply them (SSH, public key encryption, access credentials, certificates, TLS, and data encryption)
  • Strong grasp of scripting languages (eg: BASH, Perl, Ruby, Python)
  • Adept in Kubernetes cluster management and application deployment
  • Strong cognizance of any one of the CI/CD tools including Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, ArgoCD, and Atlantis
  • Previous experience with Monitoring Solutions (BigPanda, Datadog, Nagios, and Cloudwatch)
  • Solid command of and experience with Linux systems
  • Knowledge of telemetry systems - Prometheus, ELK, and Grafana, as well as log management tools such as LogStash / Rsyslog is a must
  • Nice to have Certified Kubernetes Administrator - CKA and HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate certifications
  • Certified as a Microsoft Certified DevOps Engineer or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer would be a plus
  • Nice to have any cloud Architect certifications
  • Excellent English communication skills
