Job description

A rapidly growing HR platform for companies to manage employees internationally is looking for a DevOps Developer. The developer will join the team and contribute to the build-out of the internal product and features. The company is simplifying the process for global employment as well as onboarding and managing employees in 150+ countries. The role presents a nice opportunity for the selected candidate to create a lasting impact in a truly global and diverse HR-tech platform.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the design, implementation, testing, and maintenance of the applications and domains
  • Work across teams to align and communicate the development and delivery process
  • Influence the decision towards a decentralized microservice architecture 
  • Deliver high-quality software features that meet coding and design patterns best practices
  • Follow DevOps best practices including continuous integration and unit testing
  • Contribute to setting the engineering best practices in writing maintainable and scalable code 
  • Build on the team's operational excellence through automation and relevant operational best practices
  • Work closely with stakeholders to clarify the technical requirements independently, assessing development estimates and design options

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of working experience with Java development and related technologies
  • Must be skilled at AWS - MEAN stack and Terraform
  • Strong knowledge of MongoDB, PostgreSQL and React
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
