Job description

An emerging start-up providing an all-in-one software solution for cannabis cultivation is looking to hire a DevOps Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for deploying product updates, identifying production issues, and implementing integrations that meet the business needs. The company is led by industry leaders with a focus on crafting products to deliver quality user experiences. The role presents a full-time, long-term opportunity for the selected candidate and requires at least 6+ hours of time overlap with CST.

Job Responsibilities:

Build and set up new development tools and infrastructure
Understand the needs of stakeholders and conveying the same to developers
Innovate new ways to automate and improve the development and release processes
Perform tests and examine code written by others including the analyses of results
Ensure systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
Identifying technical problems and develop software updates and fixes

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
Sound expertise with DevOps engineering
Must have experience in Node.js and AWS Lambda
Proficiency with GraphQL engine and Hasura
Experience with scale operations
Prior experience at all phases of the software product life cycle, from conception to completion
Familiarity with software security methods and automation tools
