Job description

An emerging start-up providing an all-in-one software solution for cannabis cultivation is looking to hire a DevOps Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for deploying product updates, identifying production issues, and implementing integrations that meet the business needs. The company is led by industry leaders with a focus on crafting products to deliver quality user experiences. The role presents a full-time, long-term opportunity for the selected candidate and requires at least 6+ hours of time overlap with CST.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build and set up new development tools and infrastructure
  • Understand the needs of stakeholders and conveying the same to developers
  • Innovate new ways to automate and improve the development and release processes
  • Perform tests and examine code written by others including the analyses of results
  • Ensure systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
  • Identifying technical problems and develop software updates and fixes

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • Sound expertise with DevOps engineering
  • Must have experience in Node.js and AWS Lambda
  • Proficiency with GraphQL engine and Hasura
  • Experience with scale operations
  • Prior experience at all phases of the software product life cycle, from conception to completion
  • Familiarity with software security methods and automation tools
