Job description

A fast-growing company building a simplified, universal identity solution is looking for a DevOps Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for driving the cloud hosting strategy and implementation to deploy, secure and maintain a multi-region and highly available digital platform. The company is recognized by the World Economic Forum, the Brookings Institute, and has raised up to $6 mn in funding. Candidates who would like to join a fast-scaling team to make an impact within the cloud infrastructure operations space are well suited for this role. It requires at least 4 hours of time overlap with EST.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work on improvements for the existing cloud platform and deployment operations
  • Perform automation for complex deployment pipelines with zero-downtime tolerance, and drive a robust CI/CD
  • Manage and monitor the performance of the application and infrastructure
  • Solve operational issues and automate operational recovery processes
  • Work with stakeholders including the executive, product, and engineering teams to assist with technical issues and support their architectural, software, data infrastructure, and analytics needs
  • Create and maintain a culture of best deployment practices

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • Prior experience as a DevOps engineer
  • Must be experienced with AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform
  • Sound expertise of other DevOps technologies
  • Familiarity with the DevOps lifecycle and building a robust CI/CD
