Job description

A U.S.-based company working closely with healthcare providers to significantly improve their financial situation is looking for a Data Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for defining the application’s architecture, executing and deploying software solutions. The company is helping patients to effectively manage their medical expenses by reducing bad debt and improving cash flow. The company has secured more than $65 mn in funding so far. This will be a long-term position requiring some overlap with the EST time zone. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • File exchange, data integrations, and configuration for the company’s clientele
  • Create client-specific and internal static, ad-hoc reports
  • Initiate and assist in performing ad-hoc and recurring non-automated tasks
  • Work with the team to implement ticketing system triaging and assignments
  • Provide operational support via password resets, ad hoc queries, and research
  • Perform analysis, design, and development of client-specific processes and tools
  • Manage the recognition and escalation of core platform modifications
  • File specifications, communications modifications, and negotiations 
  • Create, send, receive, and test feedback on all test files

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a data engineer
  • Extensive experience in T-SQL, SSIS, and SQL
  • Nice to have experience in project management, SSRS, and SDLC
  • A minimum of 2+ years of experience with data management
  • Experience with configuring complex systems
  • Nice to have experience with SharePoint
  • Experience with requirements analysis and technical design
  • Experience doing internal technical product support is a plus
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
