Job description

A U.S.-based company developing a PaaS platform that provides access to workflow tools with datasets and forecasts for strategizing business decisions is looking for a Data Engineer. The engineer will be in charge of building, testing, and delivering data pipelines, schemas, models, and tests. The company is on a mission to enable businesses to do strategic analysis using guided workflow templates populated with high-frequency alternative data and forecasts. This will be a full-time, long-term position. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build and scale the data pipelines and administer features
  • Analyze and improve scalability and efficiency of the core systems' data collection
  • Instrument existing code and create services that expose the state of datasets to internal users  
  • Improve maintainability and supervision of production processes

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a data engineer
  • Extensive experience in Python
  • Nice to have experience in databases administration 
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
