Job description

A rapidly-growing company that is determined to build a blockchain-based customer intelligence platform specializing in Dapp analytics is looking for a Data Engineer. The selected candidate will be tasked with creating, testing, and managing data models in close collaboration with product engineers. The company is leveraging the power of AI modeling technologies to help businesses in the blockchain industry to improve their customer experience and low retention. This will be a full-time opportunity for developers who are eager to work in a fast-moving environment. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create, enhance, and maintain data pipelines to create user databases
  • Develop SQL/GraphQL queries to gain insight from the data
  • Work with stakeholders and support engineers to ensure that the data infrastructure complies with the ever-changing needs
  • Set the standard for other engineers by proposing and driving innovative ideas
  • Participate in engineering activities from planning and coordination through delivery and proferring solutions to challenging engineering issues
  • Take charge of finding technological solutions to problems with data quality and workflow
  • Build state-of-the-art systems to collect and aggregate on-chain and off-chain data to be consumed by AI models to derive useful customer insights
  • Draft and evaluate technical papers, including those for design, development, and modification
  • Identify opportunities to improve instrumentation and observability

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a data engineer
  • Prolific experience working with GraphQL, Airflow, Cloud, and Data Pipelines
  • Extensive knowledge of data engineering-related practices and technologies
  • Nice to have some experience with Web3 and Kafka
  • Experience with building data pipelines, designing data models, and data warehouses
  • Advanced knowledge of modern data pipeline architecture and the AWS/GCP ecosystem
  • Experience in performing root cause analysis on data logging and ingestion processes
  • Experience working with APIs
  • Fluent in written and English communication
