Job description

A US-based mental health company that focuses on helping young children's and their families is looking for a Data Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for sustaining the organization's data model standard by developing simple APIs for obtaining recorded information. The company offers unique digital care and an inclusive care team to improve health and emotional development and diagnose developing social and emotional challenges. It has managed to raise close to $27 mn in funding. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Establish and sustain data pipelines to support business operations, clinical research, and care model
  • Build and maintain observability for the data infrastructure
  • Collaborate with the business operations team and senior leadership to create key KPI dashboards
  • Work collaboratively with the team to identify data requirements and build data pipelines to support clinical research
  • Cooperate with the product development team and directly contribute to product changes that are required to collect data to power the data needs
  • Maintain the data model standard that will be used by the organization by creating simple APIs for accessing collected data

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a data engineer
  • Knowledge of Spark and SQL
  • Experience in Azure Databricks and Jupyter Notebooks
  • Knowledge of Data Warehousing and Modeling is nice to have
  • Familiarity with Python and Unix is desirable
  • Proficiency in English
