Job description

A US-based company building an efficient platform to ensure that youth and families everywhere can experience high-quality, evidence-based treatment is looking for a Data Engineer. The engineer will be in charge of effectively communicating with employees and clients across various channels. Users will have access to a team of professional clinicians who will use engaging and productive therapeutic groups to help them form bonds with their peers, show support, and heal together. During their Seed round of funding, the company managed to raise more than $820K. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Create and deliver high-quality, performant, and maintainable data platforms that generate significant business value
  • Establish strong patterns for our expanding team to follow
  • To understand our business, collaborate with colleagues from across the organization
  • Drive architecture and technology discussions and decisions
  • Collaborate with the product and the rest of the company to iterate on top-tier data solutions
  • Identify bottlenecks in engineering processes, tools, and procedures and implement improvements
  • Encourage a culture of collaboration and learning among the engineering, product, and design teams through mentoring, documentation, presentations, or other methods of knowledge sharing

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a data engineer
  • Must have experience in data engineering
  • Have a growth mindset, good sense of humor, and be able to accept feedback positively
  • Ability to quickly adapt in a fast-paced environment and enjoy creating an environment that values fun, learning, and growth
