Job description

An emerging company building data visualization and predictive analytics software that uses machine learning to identify automated insights is looking for a Data Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for effectively and efficiently troubleshooting data issues and bugs. The US-based company leverages the power of machine learning technologies to identify automated insights, transform businesses, and accelerate growth. This will be a full-time role and a great opportunity for engineers who enjoy tackling complex, multifaceted problems.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with, clarify, and find creative solutions for ambiguous and sometimes challenging requests
  • Implement new features and solve complex data management problems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high productivity, reliability, scalability, and performance of applications
  • Work on expanding product and user-facing features

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • Prolific skills and experience with AWS, SQL, and PostgreSQL
  • Remarkable skills in working with Data warehousing and Dimensional Data Modeling
  • Extensive Cloud Experience
  • Familiarity with Python, third party APIs, data engineering, and data analysis is nice to have
  • Extensive experience with webhooks and callback URLs
  • Proficient knowledge of DBT
  • Ability to act autonomously and thrive in a strong team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
