Data Engineer

A rapidly-growing company that is helping clients to drive performance by embedding the impact of bias and human behavior in everything they do, is looking for a Data Engineer. The engineer will be required to work collaboratively with business stakeholders and engineering teams to meet the data requirements. The company's innovative tools help users to gain valuable insight into their own abilities and how best to communicate and improve relationships, business, and society. This role requires significant overlap with the EST time zone.

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with the engineering team to solve large-scale complex problems
• Contribute to the development of a scalable platform by employing best engineering practices
• Work on fine-tuning the business requirements and expanding the payments platform
• Take complete ownership and responsibility for the features and services you create

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a data engineer
• Must have the ability to orchestrate data from source files to downstream staging/model/view layers and BI dashboards.
• Candidates must have proven prior project experience in GCP Analytics stack with concentration focus in Google Big Query and Looker BI
• Ability to facilitate good data model design, agile development, UAT support, and experience with DevOps migration cadence
• Excellent communication skills is a must
