Data Engineer

A fast-growing company helping brands scale their marketing programs with easy deployable AI is looking for a Data Engineer. The engineer will employ a practical approach in designing and building systems for collecting, storing, and analyzing data at scale. The company has developed a platform that leverages the power of machine learning and high-level data to generate leads, spark sales, and drive ROI. This will be a part-time and long-term opportunity for the candidate to build, test, and maintain database pipeline architectures as well as systems that enable organizations to reach their ideal audience.

Job Responsibilities:

• Acquire datasets that align with business needs
• Develop algorithms to transform data into useful, actionable information
• Collaborate with management to understand company objectives
• Create new data validation methods and data analysis tools
• Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 3+ years of relevant data engineering experience 
• Must be experienced in Big Data, Python, and AWS
• Sound expertise in ETL and ELT
• Competence in Google Cloud Big Data tools
• Must be fluent in English language, both written and spoken
• Experience in Hive, Hadoop, and Spark
• Proficiency in building data lakes and data warehouses
