Job description

A US-based company that has built a system that monitors the conditions of healthcare professionals and prevents burnouts is looking for a Data Engineer. The developer will be in charge of building custom data analyses to drive business decisions. The company's innovative technology elevates high-risk performance by providing expert training, technology, and tools to frontline medical workers on how to manage stress and improve performance. They have managed to raise funding worth more than $1 mn so far. This will be a full-time role that requires a minimum of 6+ hours overlap with the PST time zone.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build tools and measures to ensure user’s data are more secure
  • Design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance the user experience
  • Take a keen interest and be involved in the entire software development lifecycle
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gain a better knowledge of the data sources that power different aspects of the business

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years relevant experience as a Data Engineer
  • Skilled with Cyber Security and Python
  • Prior experience building a PostgreSQL database
  • Experience working in an agile environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and documentation skills
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
