Job description

A fast-growing company that is on a mission to help people live better lives and connect them to a better future through solar technology, is looking for a Data Engineer. The engineer will be in charge of converting the business needs into technical specifications, and accommodating the regulatory environment's ongoing changes in your initiatives. The company is empowering people to take control of their energy and switch to solar power while offering them complete transparency so they can see and participate in every stage of the solar installation process. This position requires 4+ hours of overlap with the Mountain Daylight time zone. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Use a fundamental understanding of different technological fields and knowledge of application development procedures and concepts to discover and design necessary system enhancements
  • Determine issues, examine data, and render judgments in order to suggest and put forth answers
  • Resolve problems by recognizing and selecting solutions using the technical skills you've gained while being guided by precedents
  • Create a great partnership by being proactive with your interactions, communication, engagement, and value-adding

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5-7+ years of relevant experience as a Data Engineer
  • Prolific experience working with data modeling and understanding data
  • Experience with Snowflake and Airflow
  • Some familiarity with Data Management is nice to have
  • Solid understanding of 3P APIs & Libraries is desirable
  • Excellent conversational and written English communication skills
