Job description

A U.S.-based company that is leveraging the power of AI technology to enable clients to draft, probate, collect information, and develop workflows, is looking for a Data Engineer. The selected candidate will be in charge of detailed design, configuration, monitoring, deployment, and implementation of data, The company is creating a collaborative workspace geared to cater to the needs of trusts, estates attorneys, and financial experts. This will be a part-time position requiring 3+ hours of overlap with the EST time zone. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assume responsibility for building their ETL pipelines, assisting with data engineering projects, and implementing AI components
  • Utilize PDF forms to analyze and categorize the data before storing it in a vector database or a searchable format
  • Work on complex and important data project design and development
  • Utilize past knowledge and research to make sure the organization is current and investigating constantly

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a data engineer
  • Prolific experience working with ETL, Python, and AWS
  • Demonstrable working experience with Java, Kotlin, and PostgreSQL
  • Prior experience collaborating with data engineers, Python developers, and ETL specialists 
  • Prolific experience with JavaScript
  • Some experience hosting AWS via Terraform
  • Nice to have some AI and Machine Learning experience
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
