Job description

A well-established company that has a century’s worth of experience revolutionizing the pharmaceutical industry is looking for a Data Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for analyzing and profiling data to find areas that can be improved and optimized. The NYSE-listed company is efficiently catering to the pharmaceutical and healthcare needs of a global customer base. This position requires 6-8+ hours of overlap with the EST time zone. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Determine, create, and put into practice internal process improvements automating manual procedures and data optimization
  • Control the delivery, automate the ingestion of data, and the validation of data
  • Utilize data integration techniques to provide smooth data transfer between multiple systems and applications
  • Keep abreast of the most recent trends and developments in big data and cloud technologies, and suggest creative solutions to improve our data infrastructure

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a data engineer
  • Prolific experience working with Python and Appium
  • Extensive experience with Testcafe and Cypress
  • Prior experience with web scraping tools like Selenium or others
  • Strong data engineering experience with ETL and data extraction
  • Fluent in spoken and written English communication
