Job description

A U.S.-based data collaboration engine that is helping enterprises and businesses manage their data sets through Python API, web catalog, and back-end in S3, is looking for a Data Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for helping the company expound its vision, effectively developing and maintaining data systems/pipelines to streamline engineering efforts and drive company growth. The company helps businesses transform unlabeled and scattered data into discoverable and reproducible datasets in the cloud. This company has successfully raised over $4 Million in Seed funding.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate company goals and business needs to build data systems and pipelines
  • Analyze and organize data to prepare reports
  • Work on model-prepared data in prescriptive and predictive styles
  • Build sustainable algorithms and prototypes
  • Collaborate with the internal team, data scientists, and architects to achieve company goals

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a Data Engineer
  • Proficient with Java, Python, and Groovy
  • Good command of English communication, both spoken and written
