Job description

A rapidly-growing company that is building AI technology to help students understand texts and learn better is looking for a Data Engineer. The selected candidate will be helping the leadership in revamping and mitigating product backlog weekly. The U.S.-based company is solving problems for students, enterprises, and schools by tapping into the power of technology. The company has managed to secure more than $590K in funding so far. This is an exciting opportunity for developers who enjoy working with an efficient cross-functional team of professionals. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing the team in the delivery of sprint commitments
  • Build internal tools to help workflows
  • Collaborate and communicate with employees and clients across various channels
  • Work with the team to brainstorm ideas and perform sprint planning 
  • Quickly surface issues and any deviations from the plan to relevant stakeholders 
  • Work closely with product leaders and technical team to develop scalable solutions

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a data engineer
  • Extensive experience working with data engineering, Kafka, and related technologies
  • Ability to create data pipelines, infrastructure, cleaning, and processing datasets
  • Fluent in spoken and written English communication
