Android Kotlin Engineer (1)

A well-established energy drink manufacturer with a global presence is looking for an Android Kotlin Engineer. The developer will be working in an environment with high autonomy where teams are responsible for solving customer and business problems. The company sells more than 7 billion cans annually and operates in over 170 countries. The company’s world-class product, along with their signature marketing strategy, has made them a household brand in the energy drink industry. This will be a rare opportunity for developers to work for a global company and flourish in their careers. This role requires at least 4+ hours overlap with the PST time zone and will be a full-time position.  

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist the existing team in rebuilding the company’s core app natively
• Work on upgrading and fixing errors in the company’s core application
• Collaborate with the product and design teams to build new and innovative application experiences for the mobile platform
• Contribute to the development of scalable Android applications
• Communicate with cross-functional teams to gather and organize requirements
• Build individual features and products, and bring in best practices and patterns that can be used for the engineering lifecycle 

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 3+ years of relevant mobile (Android) engineering experience
• Experience in building complex applications for the Android OS using Kotlin and other related frameworks
• Prior experience working around GPS, mapping, or running a fitness app is a huge plus
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
• Capable of working independently as well as in a team environment
• Fluent in written and spoken English
