Job description

An AI software company backed by top industrial multinational ventures and offers a solution used by various industry verticals, including automobile, warehouses, electronics, and food processing companies, is looking for an Android Developer. As a developer, you will be responsible for developing proprietary AI software while leveraging a solid background in Android-based enterprise/SaaS software development. The company’s software operates as a digital assistant for industrial work, using AI for productivity, safety, and coaching. Job Responsibilities:

  • Work actively to build a team and scale up the technical operations
  • Develop high-quality, native Android/iOS AI applications
  • Implement robust software architectures and elegant UIs
  • Ensure the high performance of the application, good quality, scalability, responsiveness, and user-friendliness 
  • Collaborate with the engineering and product teams
  • Contribute to the defining specifications for new features, and own the development 
  • Promote and advocate for best practices in a native iOS/Android environment
  • Identify and solve bottlenecks efficiently, fix bugs and performance issues

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant mobile development experience in Android/iOS development 
  • Track record of developing and releasing at least 2 iOS/Android apps as part of a product ecosystem or Suite
  • Adept at both software writing and managing software developers
  • Experience with Android frameworks such as Motion Data, Core Graphics, Core Text, and ML toolkit
  • Strong command of Android/iOS best practices, development, and distribution via marketplace/app store
  • Familiarity and knowledge of building maintainable, scalable, and testable codebases
  • Core competency in API design and unit testing techniques, cloud-native CI/CD practices, and cloud computing and platform
  • Proficiency with issue tracking and collaboration (Jira and Confluence)
  • Experience working with Agile development frameworks
