Job description

Job responsibilities

  • Design and develop high-performance, responsive, scalable, and cutting-edge distributed software systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical specifications and deliver products that meet the business requirements
  • Contribute to performance tuning by optimizing the existing/new systems

  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade applications
  • Determine coding standards/protocols and assist in reviewing codes on a timely basis
  • Integrate the developed solution with internal or third-party software for better performance and data consistency
  • Work closely with technical writers and maintain a detailed and accurate technical documentation

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, IT, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of experience working as a software developer (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)
  • Proficiency with programming languages/libraries/frameworks like PHP, Python, Ruby, Java, .NET, JavaScript, React, Node, etc.

  • 3+ years of experience working as a software developer (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)
  • Proficiency with programming languages/libraries/frameworks like PHP, Python, Ruby, Java, .NET, JavaScript, React, Node, etc.
  • Excellent knowledge of software design and architecture to build large-scale distributed systems
  • Experience in database management, and designing
  • Familiar with different operating systems and platforms
  • Significant expertise with security protocols and networking to ensure data integrity
  • Strong understanding of web and web server technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, NGINX, Apache, and J2EE
  • Fluent in English to communicate effectively
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4 hour overlap with US time zones

  • Familiar with databases, APIs, and third-party libraries
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
