Job description

Job responsibilities

  • Work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to design, develop, deploy, and maintain end-to-end cross-platform software products
  • Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle
  • Define guidelines and best practices to optimize software systems
  • Maintain close communication with QA team to troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade solutions
  • Analyze existing systems and suggest new opportunities for improvement and optimization
  • Integrate solutions with various APIs and third-party libraries to increase productivity and data consistency

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of experience in software development (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)
  • Proficient with multiple programming languages, frameworks, and libraries, including React, Node, Python, JavaScript, React Native, PHP, Python, Java, among others
  • Strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards
  • Fluent with software design and architecture for large-scale distributed systems
  • Well-versed with data structures and algorithms
  • Functional knowledge and design experience with Web Services (REST) along with web technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, etc.
  • Efficiency in using code versioning tools like Git and project management tools like Jira
  • Fluent in English to communicate effectively
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4 hour overlap with US time zones

Preferred skills

  • Solid understanding Linux/Unix environment
  • Familiar with CI/CD/CT pipelines
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Comfortable working with distributed environments
  • Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
