Job responsibilities

Building back-end infrastructure, data pipelines, and/or machine learning models for AI-backed products
Experiment with machine learning, create programs, and put them to the test
Assist in extending and improving existing machine learning frameworks and libraries
Participate in Machine Learning systems and schemes design and development
Deploy machine learning models to end-users and run experiments
Investigate, test, and deploy appropriate machine learning algorithms and tools

Minimum requirements

Bachelor's/Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Maths, Statistics, or relevant field
3+ years of experience as an ML engineer (exceptions made based on skill level)
Advanced knowledge of applied machine learning algorithms, especially NLP, and statistics
Exceptional grasp over machine learning, neural networks, deep learning, and related fields
Experience in data science and computer architecture
Proficient with ML frameworks, ML libraries, and packages like Scikit learn, Theano, Tensorflow, Matplotlib, Caffe, etc.
Good knowledge of data structures, data modeling, and software architecture
Fluency in English to collaborate with engineering managers
Work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4 hour overlap with US time zones

Preferred skills

Ability to write Java and Python code
Expertise in coding and programming languages, including Python, R, Java, C++, etc.
Knowledge of Big Data frameworks like Hadoop, Spark, Pig, Hive, Flume, etc
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills
Efficient working in a team environment
