Job responsibilities

Accumulate, analyze and extract data using modern tools and innovative ideas to identify exceptional growth opportunities
Work closely with data engineers and other data specialists to define, develop, and maintain efficient data cleaning and processing protocols
Identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets and fix any corrupted data
Collect data from primary and secondary data sources and maintain databases
Help in developing efficient reporting environment, including data sources, security, and metadata
Work closely with the stakeholders and the management to prioritize business and information needs
Share your technical expertise to assist in developing data storage structures, and data mining, data cleansing, etc.
Participate in tests and implement upgraded/new software and assist in taking strategic decisions

Minimum requirements

Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Economics, Statistics (or equivalent)
Minimum 3+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst, or a Business Analyst (rare exceptions for highly skilled candidates)
Solid working experience with data mining, data models, segmentation techniques, and database design development
Strong understanding of the structure, analysis, and extract data according to business requirements
Proficient with handling large data sets and relational databases
Ability to write queries with SQL, and knowledge of statistical/mathematical software, like R, SAS, MATLAB
Experience in using statistical packages, like Excel, SPSS, SAS for analyzing datasets
Knowledge of multiple programming languages and frameworks, including Python, JavaScript, XML, etc.
Proficiency in various ETL tools, such as Stitch, Fivetran, etc.
Fluency in English to collaborate with engineering managers and clients
Work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4 hour overlap with US time zones

Preferred skills

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail and accuracy
Technical writing expertise in related areas, including reports, queries, and presentations
Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills
