Job description

Job responsibilities

  • Accumulate, analyze and extract data using modern tools and innovative ideas to identify exceptional growth opportunities
  • Work closely with data engineers and other data specialists to define, develop, and maintain efficient data cleaning and processing protocols
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets and fix any corrupted data
  • Collect data from primary and secondary data sources and maintain databases
  • Help in developing efficient reporting environment, including data sources, security, and metadata
  • Work closely with the stakeholders and the management to prioritize business and information needs
  • Share your technical expertise to assist in developing data storage structures, and data mining, data cleansing, etc.
  • Participate in tests and implement upgraded/new software and assist in taking strategic decisions

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Economics, Statistics (or equivalent)
  • Minimum 3+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst, or a Business Analyst (rare exceptions for highly skilled candidates)
  • Solid working experience with data mining, data models, segmentation techniques, and database design development
  • Strong understanding of the structure, analysis, and extract data according to business requirements
  • Proficient with handling large data sets and relational databases
  • Ability to write queries with SQL, and knowledge of statistical/mathematical software, like R, SAS, MATLAB
  • Experience in using statistical packages, like Excel, SPSS, SAS for analyzing datasets
  • Knowledge of multiple programming languages and frameworks, including Python, JavaScript, XML, etc.
  • Proficiency in various ETL tools, such as Stitch, Fivetran, etc.
  • Fluency in English to collaborate with engineering managers and clients
  • Work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4 hour overlap with US time zones

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail and accuracy
  • Technical writing expertise in related areas, including reports, queries, and presentations
  • Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills
