Job responsibilities

  • Develop, improve and maintain CI/CD pipeline
  • Identify and troubleshoot bugs in the application
  • Contribute to maintaining high availability of the software systems
  • Take ownership of upcoming projects and major releases

  • Collaborate with the developers to integrate changes to the project

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in computer science (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of experience working with Jenkins (rare exceptions for super talented applicants)
  • Strong understanding of release management process and product lifecycle
  • Excellent command over CI/CD tools and container systems like Kubernetes
  • Proficient with AWS, CloudBees Jenkins, Lambda, CloudFormation, and EC2
  • Skilled at building fault-tolerant, efficient and self-healing services
  • Experience with AWS security features, auto-scaling, monitoring and logging

Preferred skills

  • Prolific experience with version control systems like Git and SVN
  • Familiarity with build tools like Maven. ANT or Gradle
  • Working knowledge of Apache Groovy, Apache Tomcat server
  • Capable of communicating at all levels of organization
