Job description

An e-learning platform for students seeking academic questions and answers in various subjects like Maths, Physics, Chemistry, etc., is looking for a Typescript Developer. The developer will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality software applications. The platform provides students with video explanations of challenging academic problems from top experts worldwide. The company has managed to secure fundings worth more than $49 mn during their Series B round. This is an exciting opportunity for developers to work on impactful projects. The role requires a time overlap with the IST time zone.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Analyze business requirements and develop software solutions
  • Help to improve the code quality by writing unit tests, automation, and performing code reviews
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas to the technology, algorithms, and products
  • Design and build low-latency, reliable, and highly performant applications
  • Analyze, design, and develop tests as well as test-automation suites

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software or back-end engineer
  • Extensive skills in JavaScript, Typescript, and Unit testing
  • Good communication skills and ability to explain complex topics to a non-technical audience
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, highly ambiguous startup environment
  • Fluency in English
  • Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills
