Job description

A rapidly-growing company on a mission to build the biggest decentralized outdoor data collecting network is looking for a Solidity Developer. The developer will be reporting directly to the CTO and working closely with the development team to help scale and build the platform. The company is combining cutting-edge IoT, ML, AI, and blockchain technologies that will help capture behavioral data and empower future innovations in the public space. This will be a long-term, full-time position requiring some overlap with the AST time zone.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Help determine the blockchain technology needs and functionalities
  • Utilize programming languages and develop multithreaded codes for application features and interfaces
  • Leverage modern cryptology techniques to protect digital transaction data against security breaches
  • Maintain client and server-side applications
  • Implement new tools and technologies to protect the blockchain applications
  • Facilitate secure digital payments by sharing knowledge about the blockchain features
  • Document blockchain processes and comply with best practices in data protection
  • Keep up with current blockchain technologies and cryptography methods

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 2+ years of relevant experience as a blockchain engineer
  • Prolific experience in programming languages, such as C++, Java, and Python
  • Extensive experience in back-end development, Algorithms, and data structures
  • Comprehensive knowledge of cryptography and blockchain protocols
  • In-depth knowledge of best practices in blockchain management and data protection
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail
  • Nice to have knowledge of IOTEX including MachineFi 
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
