Job description

A fast-growing company on a mission to build a new generation DeFi protocol for borrowing and lending crypto is looking for a Solidity Developer. The developer will be in charge of delivering products that are fully functional and provide a high-quality user experience while overcoming scalability issues. The company is determined to disrupt traditional financial institutions by leveraging the power of advanced technology. This will be a long-term role requiring some overlap with the Asia time zone. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assess technical and product requirements in light of offered solutions
  • Exercise solid judgment while also thinking strategically and innovatively
  • Proactively identify new opportunities and suggest improvements
  • Stay up-to-date with new technology and trends and iterate features to accommodate changes 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a back-end engineer 
  • A minimum of 2+ years of experience in Solidity 
  • Nice to have experience in executing tasks, building features, owning projects, and developing MVP
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Web3/DeFi Protocols/Blockchain
  • Solid understanding of smart contract development tools/frameworks (Truffle, Hardhat, Foundry)
  • Working knowledge of secure Solidity development patterns for DeFi protocols
  • Prolific understanding of Ethereum infrastructure, DeFi, yield strategies, etc.
  • Familiarity with the common Smart Contract vulnerabilities is a plus 
  • Demonstrable experience of working in CI/CD setup
  • Strong sense of responsibility and the ability to collaborate with team members
  • Ability to draft clean documentation 
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
