Software/Systems Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Work with the company’s software and product offerings
• Develop scalable software applications, directing software system validation and testing methods
• Manage cloud infrastructure, and participate in compliance activities
• Work with distributed and remote team members on internal and external projects
• Develop and execute software system validation and testing methods
• Participate in the company’s software programming initiatives
• Monitor and manage the development of documentation
• Work closely with clients on software implementation and configuration projects
• Analyze requirements to coordinate the installation of new systems or the modification of existing systems
• Manage the software development lifecycle and design and implement cloud infrastructure systems
• Monitor system performance and communicate key project data to team members and build cohesion among teams
• Develop and execute project plans and apply concepts to problem-solving initiatives
• Apply best practices and standard operating procedures
• Build innovative solutions to meet the company’s technical needs
• Test new software and fix bugs 

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 5-7+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
• Comprehensive knowledge of REST APIs
• Ability to translate real-world business problems into iterative solutions that meet customer needs
• Strong skills in cloud Infrastructure and architecture
• Knowledge of modern operating systems, containers, and scripting/automation technologies
• Hands-on experience using relevant languages (PHP, Python, SQL, JavaScript, Java, MongoDB)
• Experience in mobile app development is a plus
• Working experience managing the software development lifecycle
• Ability to prioritize activities and deliver projects on time and within budget
• Excellent coding skills and extensive knowledge of agile methodologies
• Strong team-building skills
• Ability to work independently and within teams
• Exceptional attention to detail and passion for software
• Excellent written and verbal English communication and interpersonal skills
