Job description

A well-established b2b e-commerce platform is looking for a Software Engineer (Telephony). The selected candidate will collaborate with the industry’s highly skilled and experienced professionals to bring out the desired solutions. The developer will be responsible for working on the company’s cloud telephony system. The company has over 3 million users on its platform and offers wholesale products to both small and large businesses. The company is backed by investors like Tencent, Moonstone Capital, and DST Global and has raised a fund of over $1.2bn so far. Candidates from Asia and Eastern Europe are preferred for this position


Job Responsibilities:

  • Work on the company’s cloud telephony system
  • Produce high-quality code with good test coverage and use modern abstractions and frameworks when appropriate
  • Tackle complex tasks by putting to use your problem-solving skills and analytical abilities 
  • Collaborate with your team's tech lead or manager to develop your estimation skills

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of experience in B2B E-commerce industry
  • Experience with software development with one or more general programming languages (e.g. Java, C/C++, C#, Python, JavaScript, Kotlin)
  • Experience with asterisk or any PBX system
  • Experience with cloud technologies like Azure
  • Experience working with CentOS
  • The capability to function and find effective solutions to problems without hand-holding and micromanagement
  • Ability to use constructive feedback to continuously grow and improve
  • Effective collaboration skills with an understanding of synchronous and asynchronous communication
