Job description

A fast-growing company that is helping businesses to own their brand's community and create meaningful interactions within their store, is looking for a Software Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for the overall development strategy of the platform through design, prototyping, and market research. The company is enabling communities to be built within e-commerce stores to help businesses own their funnel and increase conversion. This position requires some overlap with the PT/ET time zone. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Plan, design, and execute end-to-end web architecture in line with the software development requirements 
  • Support and guide other engineers on the team
  • Implement high-quality industry standards and ensure the team follows through in the development processes 
  • Write high-quality, clean, and readable codes 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer 
  • Extensive experience in Ruby and Shopify
  • Nice to have experience in PHP
  • Experience in Java and Python is a plus 
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
