Job description

A U.S.-based company that has established themselves as the market leader in the ticketing industry is looking for a Software Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for ensuring that the team provides accurate, reliable, and timely financial reporting. The company is providing a world-class platform that enables users to buy and sell tickets more efficiently. The company has managed to raise more than $50mn in funding so far. This will be a full-time position requiring 6-8+ hours of overlap with the U.S. time zone. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop, deploy and test services, frameworks, and features for internal financial and payments processing systems
  • Create robust automation to scale processes and integrate complex accounting systems
  • Build controls across the platform to ensure high accuracy of all financial transactions
  • Mentor team members and help increase their technical capabilities
  • Enhance processes and suggest improvements within the engineering team 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer 
  • Extensive experience in C#, SQL
  • Passionate about Fintech
  • Experience with large volumes of data is nice to have 
  • Nice to have Experience with international transactions, differing currencies, etc.
  • Experience with payment processing is a plus 
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
