Job description

A US-based company building a comprehensive online ticket marketplace that is revolutionizing the entertainment industry is looking for a Software Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for taking charge of product quality from development to maintenance of core app frameworks for a better and smoother experience. The company is determined to connect people through their world-class product, platform, marketing, and event expertise. The company has managed to raise more than $59 mn in funding so far. This position requires 6+ hours of overlap with the EST/CET time zones. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Define the future architecture of the platform while providing technical and product expertise
  • Mentor and advise other developers on how to follow the finest engineering principles
  • For a better and smoother experience, take responsibility for the end-to-end product quality, from development to maintenance of essential app frameworks
  • Develop scalable components for maximum performance across a vast array of devices and web browsers

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • Knowledge of .NET, SQL, and Azure
  • Familiarity with Java is a plus
  • Experience with email marketing and data warehousing is nice to have
  • Knowledge of performance marketing is desirable
  • Data-driven and feedback oriented
  • Strong collaborator while valuing ownership
  • Comfortable with communicating with all levels of employees, including executive leadership
  • Excellent English communication skills
