Job description

A US-based company specializing in industrial automation products and services that will revolutionize the industry is looking for a Software Engineer. The selected candidate will be working across multiple facets of the project and juggling various responsibilities simultaneously. The company operates as one of the leading providers of R&D, manufacturers, and producers of robotics and artificial vision applications in the automotive and aerospace industries. This will be a full-time position. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Carry out application debugging, lab and experimental work
  • Design and maintain vision software
  • Collaborate with the Engineering team to productize software
  • Help in solving the issues related to volumetric sensing
  • Contribute to the 3D image processing and industrial automation
  • Create and maintain technologies that are better than the existing ones
  • Work closely with different departments to achieve the company’s mission

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • 5+ years of professional software development and SDLC experience is a must
  • Proficiency in C++ and object-oriented design is required
  • General programming skills are a must
  • Familiarity with Qt, CUDA, Image Processing, Machine Vision, and Graphics programming is nice to have
  • Experience serving as a technical lead throughout the entire software development lifecycle is preferred
  • Military experience is nice to have
  • Authorized to work in the United States for any employer
