Job description

An emerging marketplace that utilizes innovative technology to enable more efficient commerce in group travel is looking for a Software Engineer. The selected candidate will be working closely with a highly collaborative team to build and contribute to the product development ideas. The company is building a world-class platform that helps users reduce the cost and complexity of group meeting services for suppliers and consumers. Job Responsibilities:

  • Write clean and efficient codes using languages like ReactJS, Ruby/Rails, and PostgreSQL
  • Look into microservices development and maintenance processes
  • Solve complex challenges while delivering best-in-class, well-crafted code
  • Contribute to various parts for both the front end and back end development
  • Work in an agile development environment and perform code reviews for safe deployment
  • Build and execute unit tests to ensure code quality and efficiency
  • Perform integrations with the deployment-safe, test-driven, CI/CD pipeline
  • Collaborate with the product development team to define implementation strategies
  • Troubleshoot errors and look in support tickets

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • Must have at least 2 years of experience with Rails, ReactJS, Ruby, and other object-oriented languages
  • A thorough understanding of technologies like ReactJS, Redux, and React Hooks is a must
  • Knowledge of developing and maintaining RESTful APIs
  • Proficiency with Async/Batch processing, SOA, and Elasticsearch
  • Demonstrate excellent organizational and analytical skills with the ability to multi-tasking in an agile environment
  • Possess expertise in working with Microsoft Office 365 Suite: Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Must be confident and comfortable in communicating with other teams and stakeholders
