Software Engineer

A fast-growing company that offers better solutions for businesses to quickly and easily get insight from their industrial process data, is looking for a Software Engineer. The engineer is expected to have solid industry expertise and be capable of taking charge of tasks to bring them to completion. The company utilizes the best modern big data technologies to bring industrial process data into the business decision process. The candidate will have the opportunity to work with a talented team that loves to collaborate and lead by example in a renowned work environment. This role requires a minimum overlap of 4 hours with the Pacific time zone.

Job Responsibilities:

• Receive verbal and written requirements and convert them into designs and objectives 
• Ideate on creating sub-tasks and estimates 
• Write good quality code with knowledge of object-oriented programming
• Interact with peers and design discussions in good spirit

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 3+ years of relevant software engineering experience 
• Familiarity with Jupyter notebook Python environment to launch from the app  and pull data 
• Proficiency in Python and Java or React/Typescript)
• Nice to have some experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Containers
• Good back-end skills with Kotlin
• Solid English and collaboration skills
