Job description

A fast-growing full-service company focused on providing businesses with award-winning strategy, operations, content, and advertising is looking for a Software Engineer. The selected engineer will help contribute to the delivery of a wide variety of software projects across the company's entire technology stack. The company helps brands optimize their presence, margins, and sales on the Amazon Marketplace. During their Series A round of funding, the company raised more than $5.5mn. This is an exciting opportunity for developers who enjoy working cross-functionally in a vibrant, dynamic startup environment.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work to extend and leverage the technology stack, including Snowflake, AWS, Fivetran, DBT, and Looker 
  • Deliver high-quality, architecturally sound code while extending and growing upon current technologies
  • Deliver large and small scale solutions for a variety of projects and objectives
  • Participate in the development of systems' architecture, coding, and delivery
  • From pre-coding needs through post-delivery comments, engage in iterative interaction with consumers

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • 2+ years cloud software engineering experience
  • Demonstrated skill delivering software on deadlines
  • Demonstrated skill in at least one enterprise programming language such as C, C++, JavaScript/node.js, Java, Python, C#, Rust, Go, Scala, Clojure, etc.
  • Demonstrated skill in at least one scripting language like JavaScript, Unix shell/bash/zsh/etc., Python, and PL/SQL
  • Fluent in software engineering lifecycle and knowledge of how to implement and apply the principles to a wide range of problem spaces
  • Demonstrated skills in SQL and enterprise-capable databases like Snowflake, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and MySQL
  • Proven delivery experience on a multi-functional team delivering web, mobile, distributed, enterprise business applications
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
